Avatar: I See You

I've been wanting to blog so badly after I watched Avatar yesterday. But I was home too late too tired and had FYP for the whole day today.

This movie was totally amazing.. unbeliveable.. I started clapping when the movie ended because it really seems as if you were just brought into a whole new world. And I kinda envy the Na'vi and wants to be part of them! can you imagine that!? The bonds and the rich emotions they have with practically everything around them, their agility and courage are admirable. not to mention all of them have great bods. lol.

There are a couple of touching scenes that made me tear because I can feel the reason of their pain.. The lost of home, families, something special beneath our very eyes can see and the brought about of fear by greedy, selfish human..The hatred and feelings of betrayal.. I'm like one Na'vi that was watching this movie in the cinema. seriously.

This movie is the best that I've ever watched, very original, very well wrapped. You know, the ending is the most important part of a movie. Some movies are ruinned when they crapped up the end. But this is not one of those. I really love it.

So anyone wanna watch again next week?

"I see you."

Think this is the end of me speaking of Avatar?
NO! Let's continue.. I think that the female pilot is really cool! She's has this very laid-back kinda attitude, even though she only appear in afew scenes, she still made an impression. That's the difference between those who will get famous and those that wil not.

Next, Grace the scientist. Always wanting to collect samples, kinda funny in the last part even though it's suppose to be sad. lol. Wish I will have this kind of passion for my job in the future but I highly doubt it.

In Cherie's blog she wrote: somehow this movie is telling her that humans are sometimes or somehow cruel or inhumane. but it's only a movie, it ain't true.
I say that it's TRUE! Humans are really like that! All the conspiracies happening each and every moment is unimagineable.

And today Jess realised that the female lead looks like Jenny. lol. yea kinda look like her. hahah. Alright, nothing to say about the others except that Jake's legs really looked as if he's crippled.

Holidays Part Ein

Yesterday started with me sending my small brother for church camp. Then I drove to my grandma's house to accompany my parents for a swim (I'm on the beach chair and they're in the pool.) I was actually watching Stardust on my ipod but after some time it ran out of battery. =/

After swimming my parents and grandma went for massage while I went for a haircut then join them for lunch at Thomson plaza. (why is my Fishville not loading?) After that I went home to shower then drove my parents and my cousin to Chinatown. On the way there, oh my, there's this driver whom I'm not sure whether he's sleeping or trying to change lane.. I'm at his right blind spot and he tilt over to my lane and because of that, I also had to turn over to the other lane. And well, everything happened too fast I couldn't rmb clearly, but of cox I was scolded for not horning at that driver.

My dad then drove my cousin and I to orchard central after they are done with their stuffs. And in Orchard central, we saw this very amazing performance. It's a form of acrobatics where the performers bounces up and down a 1-2 storey-high block, seemingly effortlessly.

Shopped around, bought a top and also visited 313@somerset. It was super crowded!! so we decided to explore it next time. We settled our dinner at Fat Boy's which just opened not long ago opposite our house. The highlight there is mainly the burgers and the drinks are a plus point. suitable for gatherings and chill outs.

Then we had a short karaoke session at home, really short because I'm extremely tired at 11.30pm. so i went to sleep. must be the alcohol.

Rahs.

This evening was the first time since the dinosaurs' era that I left my home to the nearest supermarket to get some redbulls and treats to keep me awake tonight. (because till now, I'm only done with WBS topic 1.)

Even walking through the quiet estate seems such an enjoyable thing to do! Not to mention that I also kept the clothes for my mum without her mentioning because I'm just want to do something else other than studying and memorising. I think she'll be extremely shocked when she reach home.

I bought 2 sugarfree redbulls and mango puddings. The sugarfree redbull taste more bearable and less diabetic-causing than the normal one. lol. To add on, it's 75cents cheaper than the one in 7-eleven!!! (ok becoming auntie already, hahaha) The mango puddings are the ones that was advertised on the train on the way home, thought I'll try it out.

One of my main aims during the hols is to shed some fats! after I eat the Tim Tam's tonight, unimaginable things are going to happen. lol.

I envy the children playing at the playground for 2 reasons. 1, they are having holiday. 2, they have childhood friends. =/ Too bad I dont have any living in the same estate. Because I dont live here when I was young. I still rmb my childhood friend, although we lost contact already.

Rah, rah, ah ah ah~!

Below is my FAVOURITE video of the week.

Grad Party and Combined PTN.

This week was crazy!
Practiced the dance steps for Bad Romance since Monday then we did sort of like a flashmob in wbs' lecture on Thurs. Got to thank him for cooperating with us. hahah.

LT4A(A) rocks!
We dance and sing and eat, we play games and anything you would like to do, you can just do it there (this reminded me of something). lol.

During the practical on Thurs, we had to grow a cell line from a living tissue. Kinda fun, I get to pull the chick out of it's shell, then Jessica did all the decapitation, amputation.. and Cherie turned it into mince meat. lolol.

As we wait for the trypsin to disaggregate the tissue, we did a parody (Mad Scientist) version of our Bad Romance dance. HAHAHAH.

In the evening we went to LT4A(A) for PTN, dance and sing again.
I LOVE THE 80 DRUMLETS. ^^(quite an eye opener)
We had so much food, fun, music and dance.

Then we did 3 yum sengs led by Zuo Yang, really feel like we're attending a wedding but more high then that! lol. The day ended with us playing sparklers and a short chattting session.

So tireddddd on the way back.
I say, we should all aim to be happily tired everyday. =)

You must be missing my entries..

that's why I'm back! HAHAHAH.

sooo many things had happened but I can't rmb what. zzzz. If only I have a good memory like xp.. then I'll be able to write out everything that I wanted to and had planned to. so.. shouldn't procrastinate against blogging the next time.

I've finally started reading again, picked a random Jane Austen book from our school library but Jess says that it's really bad.. lol. well, pretty down on luck uh. maybe the next time i should try not to aim on the thinnest book.

I went to eat at the Manhatten's in North point with Jess, Xp and Cherie just now. Heard that the OC class was quite fun today.. I actually missed it! I thought it will be the usual.. so i skipped it intentionally. lol. Another thing which contribute to the reluctancy of going to school today was that I do not feel like packing my stuffs for gym in the morning. Can I suggest we have another round of the OC activity next week?

So what did I do today?
I spent most of my time reading and facebooking. not only that.. I also tried to do the Gentec datasheet but couldn't find any information to support my answer so i gave up.

Talking about the book, there are a few spelling errors.. hmm. maybe they would like to invite me to do a spell check on their books before they publish. lol, kidding. I'll make it worse. But the use of language is really interesting..

Congratulations to Cherie, Thaddeus Ong Chui Chong and Joanne Teo!
Happy 19th birthday =)

So did Ms A. koh upload the group pic that she took for us? =/

Two more (nice) group photos added to the collection.

Last Sunday Bryan and I joined the Toa Payoh Adventure club people for a kayaking expedition. The plan was to kayak from Pasir Ris wv to Changi wv, stop by to have lunch then kayak back to Pasir Ris.

I rented a Dancer and this spells the start of a disaster. Why did I make that choice? because i wanted to practice my skills but in the end I didn't as I was too shy. lol. Plus the bad experience in PM using Slalom. The total distance was nearly 11km and the returning was almost torturous. If there had been some waves, things would be different. but the sea was extremely calm that day, which made returning a nightmare because we're going against the flow. The next time I'm gonna be smart and get a Slalom.

Going to practice at Kallang tmr, hoping for breakthroughs again! =D

PICNIC!

I went to Xp's house at 9am to help prepare all the food for today. Didn't help much actually.. hahah. Then something gross happened to the hotdogs so I was forced to go and buy a new packet. And on the way to the supermarket, I saw a guy lying face down on the floor near the pavement beside the playground. To ensure that he's not dead, I went up to wake him up and yes he was sleeping. lol.

The weather forecast was partially true, it rained for about 10 mins at around noon except that it's not a thunderstorm. hahah. lucky us.

Even though the sun was scorching hot, the strong wind balanced it off and I dont really feel that warm. so it's kinda good. We spent most of the time trying to get the kite up but failed after numerous attempts because the kite was too unstable - it has flapping wings. lol. So we shift the target to taking pictures. =D

Friday in a Mental Institution.

Yesterday was Waves14: Circus. After 3 years of being a loyal audience, I would have to say that sdz offers different surprises each time and all dancers' commitment to make it happen is worth applauding. The efforts are evident in Cherie Liw who always turns crazy when Waves is approaching. lol.

One thing to point out regarding to concerts is that people should learn to show some respect to the performers by not shouting the names of their friends in the midst of an item. They are just spoiling the atmosphere that the performers are trying to express and this is extremely rude. Not forgetting that it is disturbing/annoying/irritating to the other audience. Learn to cheer at the appropriate time!

The next thing to educate? Theatre etiquette.

Updates

I'm excited for the Cambodia trip even though it's in March and I've not been officially selected.

--

I was late for class today, to be specific, i skipped the first 2 lectures because my Dad left without me. T.T So I continued sleeping. hahah. partly due to the "hypnotism" by the rain.

The monsoon season is here! The weather does become cooler but the rain! you love it and hate it at times. Let's hope it doesn't rain this Sunday because we're going for a picnic at Marine Barrage! yay~

I have one thing to complain! My internet speed is becoming slower and SLOWER, and I have no idea why or how to fix it. =/
